Antique Sterling Silver Evil Eye Shell Necklace — Pyrite
Handcrafted in Bali from recycled 925 sterling silver, this one-of-a-kind talisman is shaped and assembled entirely by hand before being intentionally oxidised to enhance depth and texture within the detailing. The finish gives the piece its time-worn, antique character.
The design is an abstract interpretation of the protective evil eye, subtly merged with the form of a shell — a quiet reference to island life and the natural elements that inspired the collection.
The evil eye has long been worn as a symbol of protection, believed to shield the wearer from negative intention and external influence.
Shell forms traditionally symbolise protection and sanctuary.
At its centre sits pyrite, often associated with strength, confidence and grounded prosperity. Its metallic lustre reinforces the protective symbolism of the piece, bringing structure and solidity to the design.
