Antique Sterling Silver Evil Eye Shell Pendant – Opal

Handcrafted in Bali from recycled 925 sterling silver, this one-of-a-kind talisman is shaped and assembled entirely by hand before being intentionally oxidised to enhance depth and texture within the detailing. The finish gives the piece its time-worn, antique character.

The design is an abstract interpretation of the protective evil eye, subtly merged with the form of a shell — a quiet reference to island life and the natural elements that inspired the collection.

The evil eye has long been worn as a symbol of protection, believed to shield the wearer from negative intention and external influence.

Shell forms traditionally symbolise protection, renewal and sanctuary.

At its centre sits Ethiopian opal, known for its luminous play of colour and long associated with intuition, emotional clarity and creative expression. Its shifting light brings movement and depth to the protective symbolism of the piece.

Created as a symbolic object to be worn close to the body, this necklace is individually handcrafted and no two are identical.
